This Rosé is made from Grenache and Mataro growing on small bush vines. this is an intentional Rosé, not drained off red grapes. These vines are managed with the intention of making a savoury, food friendly style of dry Rosé that suits any dish or occasion.

These varieties are perfect for bush vines as they are upright growers and very water wise, a perfect fit for our fine free draining sand.

This vintage was affected by frost in September 2024, because of this quantities are very limited. We worked hard to save the best shoots for the structure and longevity of the vines. This produced a modest crop of grapes that were picked by hand early and made to be textural and refreshing. The wine is just ripe, grippy, fresh and delicious - it almost doesn't matter what the varieties are.

2025 was a difficult year due to frost in spring, this impacted more than the dry summer that followed. A modest crop was harvested and quantity is more limited than usual. This wine is usually sold out by December, we hope you get to try it.

Limited quantities available.

Reviews

"This is a ripping rose. Wow this is more-ish. Strawberry, red cherry, watermelon and sweet spice notes, with twigs and florals tossed through. It’s a rosé to its back teeth and yet it has an intensity; it makes an impression. It carries beautifully through the finish too. And then notes of chalk and citrus rind seal through the back palate just the deal. This is a pearler of a rosé."
